How to Find Case Studies in the Library Databases
Case studies are a valuable resource for understanding real-world applications in fields like technology, business, and innovation. Follow these steps to find relevant case studies using the Library’s A-Z List of Databases
Step 1: Access the Library’s A-Z List of Databases
- Go to the Library website and Click on the A-Z List of Databases link. You will be asked to log in with your student or faculty credentials. Or select the Library tab in Classroom and navigate to the A-Z List of Databases.
- From the list, the following databases are your best bet for case studies:
- ProQuest Central
- Academic Search Premier
- Business Source Complete
Step 2: Search.
- Enter your topic keywords (e.g., “cloud computing,” “business innovation,” or “digital transformation”).
- Add "case study" as a keyword in quotation marks to focus your search. Example searches could include:
"cloud computing" AND "case study"
"business innovation" AND "case study"
"artificial intelligence" AND "case study"
"cybersecurity challenges" AND "case study"
Step 3: Filter Your Results
Once you’ve entered your search, use the following filters to narrow down your results:
- Full Text: Choose “Full Text” to get access to the entire case study.
- Date Range: If you need recent case studies, adjust the date range to filter for the most current research (e.g., last 5 years).
